Linear Review
Normally vehicle toys just don't appeal to me, but this one stood out and I gave it a chance.

The Red Ranger figure that comes with the Transporter is as basic as you can get.  Very little paint on him, and his articulation is very limited.  Basically the only articulation he has is in his wrists & hips.

But the main focus of this toy of course is the Eagle Transporter itself.  To start with, as soon as you take the transporter out of the package, I will admit it look like a plain red, black & silver style robot / racecar.  However, once you apply the stickers to the toy, it really starts to come alive.  So yes parents, you'll probably end up having to apply stickers onto this toy for your young Power Rangers fan.

In racecar mode, the Transporters looks really cool and measures almost 11 inches long.  A small thing here is that with the Red Ranger locked into place, there's nothing for his hands to hold on to to give the appearance of him actually steering the car.

Morphing the transporter to Zord Warrior Mode is simple enough.  It just take a few changes and splits and you've got its warrior mode.  In this mode, the transporter stands about 9 1/4 inches tall.  This mode is just as impressive as the racecar mode.  The exoskeleton look is nice, and really give the feeling like a power suit for the Red Ranger.  The only flaw here is the arm areas of the warrior.  The Red Ranger's elbows don't bend, so it is kinda hard to get the Ranger's arms into the warrior arms just right.  But it's still a good robot figure.

Plus, the Formula Transporters are part of the Auxiliary Trax System.  This means that the Transporters can be combined with parts of the Guardian Figures or Racing Performance Cycles.

I'll finish up by saying that this is the only Formula Transporter I'll be purchasing.

RATINGS
The ratings are based on the following scale:
1 Emblem is Bad
2 Emblems is Poor
3 Emblems is Okay
4 Emblems is Good
5 Emblems is Great

Kids

This is something kids should love.  It's a racecar that moprhs into a robot that a Ranger figure controls.  Kids will have fun coming up with their own adventures with this toy, though parents may not enjoy having to apply the stickers   :)

Collectors

I think this isn't too bad on a collectors scale.  It's another one that if you like the looks of it, then you'll probably enjoy owning & displaying.  The overall look of it is better than one would expect.

Linear Ranger

I really didn't think I'd buy into this kind of toy, but I must say I enjoy this.  Both modes of the transporter look great.  Major props to those who came up with the design of this toy.  Plus the extra look of the Eagle Guardian Flames is nice too.
