Octavian Chalice

The Octavian Chalice was sought after by the Fear Cats.  They managed to locate and capture the cup from a gave.  In Greek Legends, the chalice was said to be a legendary receptacle that can synthesize the energy of three other ancient relics.  According to legend, if Minerva's Staff, the Sands of Scila, and the Root of Heisker were placed in the chalice, it will unleash a power that can destroy worlds.

After the Fear Cats had stole the three relics from the other Villains, they placed them inside the chalice and created Angryos.  With this great beast the Fear Cats attached their Air Craft Machine to him, and safely kept the Octavian Chalice with him in the cockpit.

After Angryos was destroy by the Rangers Megazord Arsenal Attack, the Fear Cats manages to escape with the Chalice.  However, the Rangers were waiting for them.  The Rangers were successful in finally destroying the Fear Cats, and retrieving the chalice as well.

After scanning the chalice with the Overdrive Tracker, Rose discovered that the artifact has the signatures of all five Jewels of the Corona.  Rose then discovered that in ancient times, the Chalice was thought to have magical power during a solar eclipse.  The ancient Greek would use it to ask for things, like rain during a dry season.

The team then went to Greece, in hopes that the Chalice could lead them to the fifth Jewel, during the Solar Eclipse.  However, during the eclipse, Miratrix disrupted the ceremony and used the power from the Chalice to transform herself into a monster.  Luckily, Ronny & Tyzonn were able to break Miratrix's connection to the relic and retrieve it.  After doing this, the Chalice then transformed itself into the Golden Egyptian Plate, as a sign to the location of the final Jewel.
