Phaedra Aztec Del Compass

This Ancient Compass was found in Mexico.  After the Rangers found a strange rock formation, they used the Cannon of Ki Amuk and Thor's Hammer to blast the rocks.  Inside was this compass, though giving off a 88 reading, it is not one of the Jewels. 

Before the Rangers could get the artifact back to the mansion, Moltor attacked and stole the compass.  After he stole the relic, Moltor gave it to his monster Blothgaar, so that he could use it to attack the Rangers.

Blothgaar revealed the the Compass' power was that it could control both Chi and Lee energies.  He used the artifact to take away all of Mack's good fortune, and replaced it with bad luck.

Later, Moltor and Blothgarr used the compass to open up the ground of a valley, granted them access to great power.  However, when the Rangers showed up, the Red Ranger was finally able to take down Blothgaar and regain the compass.  

Rose then was able to remove the curse from Mack.  The team also used the compass to destroy Blothgaar for good.

Later, the team used to compass to help them locate the Sapphire, the Third Jewel of the Corona Aurora.
