When the
fair came to town, Rita used it as a trap for the Rangers. She sent
down the Putties & the Pineoctopus monster disguised as Pineapple the
Clown & other clowns. Pineapple's job was to lure the Rangers in
and turn them into cardboard cutouts. To lure them in, Pineapple
would need to kidnap Trini's cousin Silvia.
While the
teens were forming a human pyramid, Pineapple managed to lure Silvia
away. Trini soon caught up with them, but before she could get
Silvia away, Pineapple turned her into a cardboard cutout and then
escaped.
Trini
showed the others what had happened. Billy offered his machines in
his garage to help Trini & Alpha figure out how to get Silvia
back. Meanwhile Jason, Zack, Billy & Kimberly stayed behind
& evacuated the fair. With the fair empty, the Putties soon revealed
themselves.
After
beating the Putties, the teens cornered Pineapple. He then changed
into the mighty Pineoctopus. The four morphed and then had to battle
a new team of Putties, as well as Goldar. Pineocotpus then joined in
the fight and tried to use his magic dust on the Rangers. However
the Ranger's suits protected them from the magic. The monster fought
them for a bit and then Rita made Pineoctopus grow.
Meanwhile
at Billy's garage, Alpha 5 managed to return Silvia back to normal by
pouring water on the cardboard cutout. This allowed Trini to then
rejoin the others in the fight. The five Rangers called for their
Dino Zords. They managed to tie up Pineoctopus and freeze him in
place. They formed the Megazord Battle mode and blasted the monster
away.
