KING SPHINX

Needing a monster that could isolate Jason from the others, Finister created King Sphinx for Rita.  He and the Putties attack at the children's theater in the park.  The Red, Black & Pink Rangers arrived to fight, but King Sphinx quickly used his wings to send the Black and Pink Rangers back to the Youth Center.

The Red Ranger fought the monster, who then transported them to the quarry.  Goldar then joined in the fight, making it two against one.  As the Red Ranger tried to defend himself, Rita used her wand to make Goldar & King Sphinx grow.  

Luckily Zordon was able to send Jason the Power Crystals, thus allowing the other Rangers to join him in battle, without the sphinx interfering.  Once the Rangers were together, they summoned their Zords and took on the two monsters with the Megazord Tank Mode.  They fired blasts from the tank and then switched to Battle Mode.

Having had enough of King Sphinx, the Rangers called for the Power Sword and used the Megazord's finishing attack to destroy the monster.
