Linear's Review:

Gee, it looks like the Blade Blaster got shrunk in the wash.  

So the Blade Blaster is the main sidearm weapon of the Power Rangers.  To start with I must give props to Bandai America for getting the details correct on the weapon.  From the white area with "Power Rangers" on it, to the detailing on the handle, there was good attention to detail put into this toy.  However, the thing that hurts this toy the most is the size.  In Holster Mode, it measures all of 8 3/4 inches long, and Blade Mode is just under 12 inches.  The handle area is 2 1/2 inches long and 1/2 an inch wide.  So yes, this weapon is tiny.  

Morphing the weapon to its different mode is very easy, and just takes a couple of pulls or pushes.  The blade locks into place solidly & easily.  When you press the trigger button, the eyes of the T-Rex light up red.

Kids

Some children will still enjoy these weapons, even though they're small toys.  It has all the main features that the Blade Blaster will have in the show, so kids will still be able to roleplay with this with no problems. 

Collectors

Yeah, definitely not a must have for many collectors.  If you're looking for a display piece only, this will work, because the detailing is really good, but that's the only thing that collectors will enjoy about this.

Linear Ranger

I'm okay with this 2010 Blade Blaster.  Yes it is a ton smaller than the original release, but I was never expecting it to be the same size.  Granted I had not imagined this small a toy either, but it's still not horrible.  I still really appreciate the details Bandai America put into it, I just wish it could have been made just about an inch bigger all around.
