Linear's Review:

Hmm, well it seems Bandai America decided to take a page from the Ben 10 Alien Force toyline and make a series of Mini Mix & Match figures & base.  I should note now that I will not be buying future Mini Ranger sets, I just bought this set for the Morpher Base.

Moving on, let's talk about the Morpher Base first.  It's done with the Green Ranger's Dragon Coin in the center.  The coin cannot be removed.  The correct "Power Rangers" paint labeling is present, as is all the Zyuranger detailing from the 1992 Sentai series.  The base has a built on belt clip that can be attached to your belt.  It's done in an clear, ash black style plastic.  To open it you just pull the side handles open.  The base can stay closed decently, but if shaken enough it will fly open.  To "Morph" the little Ranger figures, you place each body part in its correct place, press the side handles inward, and then pull them outward again & the figure pops out complete.

This set comes with two Mini Rangers, Green & a Clear Red Ranger.  Each figure is just about 2 3/4 inches tall and has hardly any articulation, other than the head, rotating shoulders & waist.  There's a a lot of detailing missing on the figures, but that is to be expected.  To separate the figures into their five pieces, you push the Release Key into their backs, and the figures pop apart.  So it should be noted here that these should be kept away from very small children you might stick the toys in their mouths.

Everything from this set works with the other various Mini Mix Morph Figure sets.

Kids

Some kids will probably get a kick out of being able to give Rangers & Megazords different arms, heads, bodies & legs, but other might not.  Plus I don't see the playability lasting too long on these toys.

Collectors

Eh, this really isn't anything for a collector.  The one & only reason a collector should consider buying this is the Morpher Base itself.  The detailing on it is quite nice, enough though the color is incorrect.  Also, no the Morpher Base is not the same size as the original Power Morpher, it's larger.

Linear Ranger

Not much to say, I bought the set for the Morpher Base itself and I'm pleased with it.  It's makes a decent enough display piece, but as for the Mini Mix & Morph Figures, I'm not impressed.
