Linear's Review:
YES! I'll go ahead and say it right now, this Megazord is great. It's not an exact remake of the original Megazord from 1993, but it is just as good.
Okay, first when you see the Megazord in its box in stores, you make think it looks a bit plane and blank. However, the Megazord does come with a sticker sheet to apply to the Zords. Once these stickers are applied, the Zords really begin to shine and look even better. The plastic is on the same level as the RPM Megazords.
All five core Dino Zords are included and they have some basic poses, though nothing really major in poseability. Each Dino Zord looks very good. There are some features a bit lacking with some of the Zords. The Triceratops tail cannon is one solid piece, the Mastodon's trunk can't be moved, and both the Sabertooth Tiger & Triceratops do not have wheels on them the move.
Combining the Zords is easy. The Megazord in Tank Mode looks very nice. The Mastodon Head does kinda sag a bit, but it's still okay since it rests somewhat on the Sabertooth Tiger & Triceratops Dino Zords. Finally, in Megazord Mode this toy really shines. I still have my original Deluxe Megazord from 1993, and I must say, this remake of the Megazord is just-as-good. Everything looks awesome on the Megazord, from head to toe. The poseability of the Megazord isn't that much, like the original. It can hold the Power Sword and Shield perfectly. The Megazord stands at about 10 1/2 inches tall.
I see no reason why, if the Dragon Zord is released later, that it shouldn't be able to combine completely with the Megazord, as well as the Mastodon, Tricertops & Sabertooth Tiger to form the Dragonzord in Battle Mode.
Kids
Kids should really just love the Megazord. They get the five main Zords. The toys are easy to combine, and the only thing that parents may have to do is apply the stickers. I do believe kids that watch & enjoy the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will love this Megazord.
Collectors
I advice for collectors, BUY IT. No, this is not the exact same Megazord as was released in 1993, but this release is just as good, and perhaps maybe even better. This time around Bandai America made sure the stickers were accurate to the show. The sheer looks of the Megazord is awesome, and if you're a fan that didn't have the original from 1993, this will easily fill in that gap in your collection.
Linear Ranger
I LOVE IT! I love it so much, I bought 2. I did wonder how the Megazord would turn out, knowing that Bandai would be making changes to it to get it to the $25 price tag, but when I had this baby in hand, I have no complaints what-so-ever. There is nothing I would have done to change this Megazord.
