Deluxe Jungle Master Is Coming,
Just Be Patient

Odds are you've read in the Developing Toys News or the Toys portion of the Merchandise page, that the Deluxe Jungle Master has been released.  In early May it was found in Virginia, and then in late May in New York.

However, according to a Bandai America representative, it was not meant to be released this early.  Thus why many of us have had a hard time finding it.

It should be released in July, so if your stores are beginning to run low on their supply of Deluxe Jungle Pride Megazords, keep checking back with them.  Odds of them getting the Deluxe Jungle Master Megazord should be increasing.

Bandai America has been receiving a number of phone calls concerning the Deluxe Jungle Master Megazord, so I thought I'd reassure everyone again, IT IS COMING, you just need to be patient.  Stores should begin getting him in in July & August.  Calls to Bandai America cannot speed up the process any.

Fall Mega Rangers Cancelled

It's been confirmed that the Fall Mega Ranger Figures (the figures that measure 11 inches tall) have been cancelled.  This is primarily due to poor sales of the Spring Mega Ranger Figures.  But I'd bet that fuel costs also effected this decision.

So there will not be any Mega Ranger figures released this fall.

There's been quite a bit of toy news coming out lately, so I thought it best to highlight these stories in one news page.

No Toys R Us Exclusive?

As most fans know, since Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Toys R Us Stores have had a Deluxe Megazord Toy that was sold exclusively at their stores.  However, this year that may not happen.

Myself & other Power Rangers fans have contacted Bandai America, and they do not show any Toys R Us exclusive Megazords in their systems.

Now granted, the Megazord usually doesn't show up in stores until July, but if that were to be the case for this year, one would think that Bandai would all ready have information about it in their computers.

So is it time to import?  For die hard collectors, I'd say if you have the $180, then yes buy the Gekiranger Deluxe SaiDaiOh.  It is worth it.  Granted Bandai & Toys R Us may still surprise us, but as the days pass, that chance gets smaller & smaller.

For those wondering why, simply look at the price of gas.  Odds are Bandai America wasn't willing to bet on parents paying $50 or more for a Megazord, when $50 now barely fills up the average car on gas.

Transforming Jungle King Megazord Where Art Thou?

According to early information, the Transforming Jungle King Megazord was supposed to be released in the same wave as the Transforming Jungle Pride Megazord & Transforming Roar Max Megazord.  But as you can see, that hasn't been the case.

Has the Jungle King been delayed?  Has it been canceled?  We'll have to wait and see.  Personally, I'd rather see if scrapped and in it's place have a Transforming Jungle Master Megazord released.

Three New Weapons Pictures;
Two Good, One Bad

New Pictures have started arriving of the Fall Jungle Fury Weapons.  No these haven't been seen in stores yet, we just have pictures now of what to look for.

First up is the "Jungle Master Claw" or as it's known on the show, the Claw Booster.  This looks really good from the picture.  The claws have lost their chrome, but have been lengthened to look more show accurate.  Also we now see the continued "Tiger Flames" included with the claw, just like the Battle Claws.

Next is the Rhino Blade, the Rhino Ranger's weapon.  This too looks like it's made a good transition.  The layout and design hasn't been touch hardly at all, and all the details still look to be in place.

Finally, our one disappointment, the Claw Cannon Air Blaster.  Now when I read that Bandai America was going to turn the Claw Cannon into an Air Blaster, I did not think it would turn out like this.  As you can see, it is short, stubby and just barely resembles the real Claw Cannon of the show.  I think we would have been better off had Bandai America just kept the design of the Geki Bazooka from Japan.

Battle Bikes Arriving

Yes, the Fall Battle Bikes have started showing up in retail stores.  This really marks the beginning of the Fall line of toys, so if these look cool to you, start checking you local retailers.
