Jungle Fury Developing News Story
2008 Toy Fair
Bandai Jungle Fury Toyline Report
As has become the pattern, just as the new season premieres, the New York Toy Fair takes place at the same time. This is the event where all major Toy Companies go to showoff their toylines for the coming year. Bandai America is one of those companies, and here I'll be covering all the news that relates to the Power Rangers Jungle Fury toyline.

Linear Ranger's Thoughts
Okay, now that the 2008 Toy Fair is in the history books, and I've gone over all the information for the Jungle Fury line we got, and I've put together some quick thoughts on the toy line.
I'm very excited about
the "Super Legends" Figures. It really is great to see
Bandai giving the collectors something to enjoy.
The Jungle Master
Figures look awesome. It's good that Bandai learned their lesson from
the Mission Response Figures last year, and moved the sound chip area to the
back, thus keeping the toys looking spot on.
The Fall Battlized
Figures are ones I'll have to see in person to get a good idea of how good
they are. I like the idea of having them react to heat, after you
press an area on their chest long enough, and the chest changes colors.
The Rhino Morpher is
what I expected. I never thought they'd go with the Rhino Ranger's
Blade Weapon for his morpher, like in Japan. So it should be
interesting to see what "Shock Sensor" sounds it holds.
The Claw Cannon sounds
cool enough. I hope the Rhino Blade & the Jungle Master Claw,
don't get changed to much from their Japanese versions.
With the Deluxe Jungle
Master Megazord, again, props to Bandai America for keeping it the same as
it's Japanese counterpart. Plus, it was easily seen that the Rhino
Ranger's Zord would be the Toys R Us exclusive this year, due to the size
& motorized parts.
The Roar Max Zords are
the one thing that worries me. Okay, back when we first got pictures
of these Zords, at first glance I thought they were Deluxe Size.
However, upon further inspection, you'll notice that all pictures we've
gotten, of the Roar Max Zords attached to the Jungle Pride Megazord, they do
not appear to be using the DELUXE Jungle Pride Megazord. Most
noticeable is the lack of the huge battery pack on the Tiger Zord, as well
as the solid orange chest area & fists, instead of clear orange.
Now we know there is going to be a TRANSFORMING Class Jungle Pride Megazord
Released. So I expect that the Roar Max Zords we've seen are attached
to the Transforming Jungle Pride Megazord.
Will the Roar Max Zords still be able to combine with the Deluxe Class
Megazords? Not very likely. From what information I've received,
Transforming Class Zords & Megazords can only combine with other
Transforming Class Zords & Megazords.
Will we get Deluxe Class Roar Max Zords? Who knows, but right now the
signs aren't too good. After going through all the listings on
Entertainment Earth's site, I've found no listings that show Roar Max Zords,
other than the Transforming Megazord Listings.
To add to the uneasiness of the Roar Max Zords, there's still no signs of a
Wolf Zord like the Wolf Ranger will have in the show. Perhaps it will
show up in the Transforming "Battle Max" Megazord, but there
again, it would not be a Deluxe Class Zord.
So to sum everything up, most all of the Figures look great, the Vehicles are okay, the Morphers are good, the Weapons we'll have to wait and see what they actually look like, the Deluxe Megazords are perfect, and the Transforming Megazords hold the mystery of the remaining Zords. Time will tell fans, only time will tell.
